Strategic Plan / School Renewal Process
Last year we collaborated closely with our community to determine the desired future of our school. This year of review and discernment has led to the creation of School Improvement Priorities which will guide the direction of our school over the next five years.
Please see below for our specific priorities set. It is important to note that these priorities are intentionally broad, and we will approach their implementation in various ways over the next few years.
This process has been incredibly affirming as it has demonstrated that we are on the right path to becoming the school we aspire to be. Moreover, it highlights our community's dedication to self-reflection and understanding the journey we are undertaking together.
We have also been working on our School Improvement Plan for the current year, 2026 which can be found here (doc below) The plan aligns with our Strategic Priorities and lays out the goals we aim to achieve as a school community this year, we are focusing on strengthening excellence and equity in learning. Key initiatives include improving literacy and numeracy through explicit teaching and consistent planning, implementing the InitiaLit program in early years, fostering independent reading with Accelerated Reader, and developing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for behaviour and academics. We are also deepening the religious life of the school by reintroducing Christian meditation, creating bespoke Religious Education units, and building a sacred space that reflects our charism and First Nations spirituality. These goals align with our Vision for Learning & Teaching: Towards 2030, ensuring every student can flourish
